- 4 large potatoes, peeled and diced
- 1 packet ranch seasoning mix
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1/2 cup sour cream
- 1/4 cup milk
- 2 tbsp butter
- 1 small onion, diced
- 1 clove garlic, minced
- 1/2 tsp black pepper
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
- In a large skillet, brown the sausage and onion over medium heat. Drain excess fat.
- Add potatoes, garlic, and butter to the skillet. Cook for 5 minutes.
- Stir in ranch seasoning, milk, and sour cream. Mix well.
- Transfer mixture to a baking dish. Top with shredded cheese.
- Bake for 25-30 minutes until potatoes are tender and cheese is bubbly.
- Let stand 5 minutes before serving.
