- 2 cups cooked chicken, shredded
- 2 cups broccoli florets
- 8 oz pasta (penne or fusilli)
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1 cup milk
- 2 tbsp butter
- 2 tbsp flour
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp black pepper
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Cook pasta according to package instructions, drain, and set aside.
- Steam broccoli florets for 3-4 minutes until tender-crisp.
- In a saucepan, melt butter over medium heat. Stir in flour to make a roux.
- Gradually whisk in milk until smooth. Cook until thickened.
- Add garlic powder, salt, and black pepper to the sauce.
- Combine cooked pasta, chicken, broccoli, and sauce in a baking dish.
- Sprinkle shredded cheese on top.
- Bake for 20-25 minutes until bubbly and golden.
Notes
- Use rotisserie chicken for quicker prep.
- Substitute broccoli with cauliflower if preferred.
- Add breadcrumbs for extra crunch.
