- 1 pie crust (9-inch)
- 3 ripe bananas
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1/4 cup cornstarch
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 2 cups milk
- 3 egg yolks
- 2 tbsp butter
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
- 1/2 cup whipping cream (for topping)
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375°F. Bake pie crust for 10 minutes.
- Slice bananas and layer them at the bottom of the crust.
- In a saucepan, mix sugar, cornstarch, and salt. Whisk in milk and egg yolks.
- Cook over medium heat until thickened. Remove from heat and stir in butter and vanilla.
- Pour filling over bananas. Let cool.
- Melt chocolate chips with whipping cream and spread over pie.
- Chill for at least 3 hours before serving.

- Use ripe bananas for best flavor.
- Chill pie thoroughly for easier slicing.
