- 1 cup heavy cream
- 2 tbsp butter
- 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 clove garlic, minced
- 1/4 tsp nutmeg
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Fresh sage leaves for garnish
Instructions
- Cook gnocchi according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
- Brown sausage in a skillet over medium heat until fully cooked. Remove from pan.
- In the same skillet, melt butter and sauté garlic for 30 seconds.
- Add heavy cream and nutmeg. Simmer for 3 minutes.
- Stir in Parmesan cheese until melted.
- Return cooked gnocchi and sausage to the skillet. Toss to coat.
- Season with salt and pepper. Garnish with fresh sage.
