- 250g pasta (penne or fusilli)
- 2 tbsp butter
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 1 onion, finely chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 200ml heavy cream
- 100g grated cheese (kashar or cheddar)
- 1 tsp paprika
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Fresh parsley for garnish
Instructions
- Cook pasta according to package instructions, then drain.
- Heat butter and olive oil in a pan over medium heat.
- Add chopped onion and sauté until soft.
- Stir in minced garlic and cook for 1 minute.
- Pour in heavy cream and bring to a gentle simmer.
- Add grated cheese, paprika, salt, and pepper. Stir until cheese melts.
- Combine the sauce with cooked pasta and mix well.
- Garnish with fresh parsley before serving.
