Ingredients

  • 2 large potatoes
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/4 teaspoon paprika (optional)

Instructions

  1. Wash and slice the potatoes into thin, even strips.
  2. Soak the potato slices in cold water for 10 minutes to remove excess starch.
  3. Pat the slices dry with a clean towel.
  4. Toss the slices with olive oil, salt, pepper, and paprika.
  5. Preheat the air fryer to 180°C (360°F).
  6. Place the slices in the air fryer basket in a single layer.
  7. Cook for 12-15 minutes, shaking the basket halfway through.
  8. Check for crispiness and cook 2-3 minutes more if needed.
  9. Serve immediately.

Notes

  • Use russet or Maris Piper potatoes for best results.
  • Do not overcrowd the air fryer basket.
