Ingredients

  • 2 chicken breasts (about 1 lb)
  • 1 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1/2 cup flour
  • 1 egg
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp black pepper
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/2 tsp onion powder
  • 1 tbsp olive oil

Instructions

  1. Preheat air fryer to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Cut chicken breasts into strips or nugget-sized pieces.
  3. In a bowl, mix flour, salt, pepper, paprika, garlic powder, and onion powder.
  4. Beat the egg in a separate bowl.
  5. Dip each chicken piece in the flour mixture, then the egg, then coat with breadcrumbs.
  6. Lightly spray or brush the air fryer basket with olive oil.
  7. Place chicken in a single layer in the air fryer basket.
  8. Cook for 10-12 minutes, flipping halfway, until golden and crispy.
  9. Check internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C).
  10. Serve hot with your favorite dipping sauce.
