Ingredients

- 4 cod fillets (6 oz each)
- 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
- 1 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp black pepper
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 4 tbsp butter
- 4 garlic cloves, minced
- 1 lemon, juiced and zested
- 2 tbsp chopped parsley
Instructions
- Pat dry cod fillets with paper towels.
- Mix flour, salt, and pepper in a shallow dish.
- Coat each fillet in the flour mixture.
- Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat.
- Cook cod for 3-4 minutes per side until golden and crispy.
- Remove cod and set aside.
- In the same skillet, melt butter and sauté garlic for 30 seconds.
- Add lemon juice and zest, stir to combine.
- Return cod to the skillet, spoon sauce over the fillets.
- Sprinkle with parsley before serving.
