A delicious and easy-to-make crispy chicken dish coated in a sweet chili sauce.
Ingredients

- 500g boneless chicken thighs or breasts, cut into bite-sized pieces
- 1 cup cornstarch
- 2 eggs, beaten
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp black pepper
- 1/2 cup sweet chili sauce
- 2 tbsp soy sauce
- 1 tbsp honey
- 1 tsp minced garlic
- 1 tsp minced ginger
- 2 tbsp vegetable oil
Instructions
- In a bowl, mix cornstarch, salt, and pepper.
- Dip chicken pieces in beaten eggs, then coat with cornstarch mixture.
- Heat oil in a pan over medium heat and fry chicken until golden and crispy (about 4-5 minutes per side). Drain on paper towels.
- In a separate pan, combine sweet chili sauce, soy sauce, honey, garlic, and ginger. Simmer for 2 minutes.
- Toss crispy chicken in the sauce until evenly coated.
- Serve hot.
Notes
- For extra crispiness, double-fry the chicken.
- Adjust chili sauce quantity based on spice preference.
- Serve with steamed rice or noodles.
