Ingredients

- 1 lb ground beef
- 1/2 lb ground pork
- 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
- 1/4 cup milk
- 1 egg
- 1 small onion, finely chopped
- 1 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp black pepper
- 1/2 tsp allspice
- 1/4 tsp nutmeg
- 1 tbsp butter (for sauce)
- 1 tbsp flour (for sauce)
- 1 cup beef broth (for sauce)
- 1/4 cup heavy cream (for sauce)
Instructions
- Preheat air fryer to 375°F.
- Mix ground beef, pork, breadcrumbs, milk, egg, onion, salt, pepper, allspice, and nutmeg in a bowl.
- Shape mixture into 1-inch meatballs.
- Place meatballs in air fryer basket in a single layer.
- Cook for 10-12 minutes, shaking basket halfway.
- For sauce, melt butter in a pan, whisk in flour, then slowly add beef broth and cream.
- Simmer until thickened, then toss meatballs in sauce.
Notes
- Use lean meat for best texture.
- Don’t overcrowd the air fryer.
- Serve with mashed potatoes or lingonberry jam.
