- 4 large croissants, cut into cubes
- 2 cups whole milk
- 3 large eggs
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 cup raisins (optional)
- 1 tablespoon butter (for greasing)
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a baking dish with butter.
- Place the croissant cubes in the prepared baking dish.
- In a bowl, whisk together milk, eggs, sugar, vanilla, and salt.
- Pour the mixture over the croissants. Press down lightly to soak.
- Add raisins if using. Let sit for 10 minutes.
- Bake for 35-40 minutes until golden and set.
- Cool slightly before serving.
