Ingredients

Instructions

  1. Score the duck skin and season with salt and pepper.
  2. Sear duck skin-side down in a pan over medium heat until crispy.
  3. Flip and cook until medium-rare (about 5 minutes).
  4. Remove duck and let it rest.
  5. In the same pan, add cherries, red wine, honey, and thyme.
  6. Simmer until the sauce thickens.
  7. Stir in butter for a glossy finish.
  8. Slice duck and serve with cherry sauce.
