Description

A fresh and zesty chili lime marinade perfect for grilling meats, seafood, or vegetables. The bold flavors of chili and lime combine for a tangy, spicy kick.


Ingredients

  • 1/4 cup fresh lime juice
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tbsp chili powder
  • 1 tsp ground cumin
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper
  • 1 tbsp honey
  • 1 tbsp fresh cilantro, chopped

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, whisk together lime juice, olive oil, garlic, chili powder, cumin, salt, pepper, and honey.
  2. Add chopped cilantro and mix well.
  3. Pour marinade over your choice of meat, seafood, or vegetables in a resealable bag or dish.
  4. Cover and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes, or up to 4 hours for maximum flavor.
  5. Remove from marinade and grill as desired.

Notes

  • For extra heat, add 1/2 tsp cayenne pepper.
  • Works well with chicken, shrimp, steak, or tofu.
