- 8 oz cream cheese, softened
- 1/4 cup powdered sugar
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1 cup fresh strawberries, sliced
- 8 slices white bread
- 2 eggs
- 1/4 cup milk
- 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
- 1/2 tsp cinnamon
- 2 tbsp butter
- 2 tbsp oil
Instructions
- Mix cream cheese, powdered sugar, and vanilla in a bowl until smooth.
- Spread the cream cheese mixture on 4 slices of bread.
- Top with sliced strawberries and cover with the remaining bread slices.
- Whisk eggs and milk in a shallow dish.
- Combine breadcrumbs and cinnamon in another dish.
- Dip each sandwich in the egg mixture, then coat with breadcrumbs.
- Heat butter and oil in a pan over medium heat.
- Fry sandwiches for 2-3 minutes per side until golden brown.
- Serve warm.

- Use day-old bread for better texture.
- Dust with powdered sugar before serving.
