Ingredients

- 1 cup whole wheat flour
- 1 tsp baking powder
- 1/2 tsp cinnamon
- 2 medium apples, grated
- 1/4 cup honey or maple syrup
- 1/2 cup unsweetened applesauce
- 1/4 cup coconut oil, melted
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 2 eggs
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (180°C) and grease a baking pan.
- In a bowl, mix oats, flour, baking powder, and cinnamon.
- In another bowl, combine grated apples, honey, applesauce, coconut oil, vanilla, and eggs.
- Add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients and mix well.
- Pour the batter into the prepared pan and bake for 30-35 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
- Let it cool before slicing and serving.
Notes
- Use ripe apples for natural sweetness.
- Replace honey with maple syrup for a vegan version.
- Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to 3 days.
