Healthy high-protein chickpea brownies that are gluten-free and packed with nutrients.
Ingredients

- 1 can (15 oz) chickpeas, drained and rinsed
- 1/2 cup almond butter
- 1/3 cup maple syrup
- 1/4 cup cocoa powder
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1/2 tsp baking powder
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 1/4 cup chocolate chips
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Blend chickpeas, almond butter, maple syrup, cocoa powder, vanilla, baking powder, and salt until smooth.
- Fold in chocolate chips.
- Spread batter in a greased 8×8 baking dish.
- Bake for 25 minutes.
- Let cool before slicing.
Notes
- Store in an airtight container for up to 5 days.
- For extra protein, add a scoop of protein powder.
- Use peanut butter if you don’t have almond butter.
