- 1 lb hot Italian sausage
- 8 oz cream cheese, softened
- 1 cup beer (lager or ale)
- 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
- 1 cup shredded Monterey Jack cheese
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp onion powder
- 1/2 tsp black pepper
Instructions
- Brown the sausage in a skillet over medium heat until fully cooked. Drain excess grease.
- Reduce heat to low. Add cream cheese and stir until melted.
- Pour in beer gradually while stirring continuously.
- Add cheddar and Monterey Jack cheeses one handful at a time, stirring until fully melted.
- Mix in garlic powder, onion powder, and black pepper.
- Simmer for 5 minutes, stirring occasionally.
- Serve warm with bread, ers, or vegetables.
Notes
- Use freshly grated cheese for smoother melting.
- Adjust beer amount for desired consistency.
- For extra heat, add diced jalapeños or red pepper flakes.
