Description

Ingredients

  • 6 fresh jalapeños
  • 4 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1/4 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/4 tsp onion powder
  • 1/4 tsp smoked paprika
  • 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1 egg, beaten
  • Cooking spray

Instructions

  1. Cut jalapeños in half lengthwise and remove seeds.
  2. Mix cream cheese, cheddar cheese, garlic powder, onion powder, and smoked paprika in a bowl.
  3. Fill jalapeño halves with the cheese mixture.
  4. Dip each popper in beaten egg, then coat with breadcrumbs.
  5. Preheat air fryer to 375°F (190°C).
  6. Lightly spray poppers with cooking spray and place in the air fryer basket.
  7. Cook for 8-10 minutes until golden and crispy.
  8. Let cool slightly before serving.

  • Wear gloves when handling jalapeños to avoid irritation.
  • For extra heat, leave some seeds in the jalapeños.
