- 4 cups chicken broth
- 1/2 cup hot sauce
- 1/2 cup heavy cream
- 1/4 cup butter
- 1/2 cup celery, diced
- 1/2 cup carrots, diced
- 1/2 cup onion, diced
- 1/2 cup blue cheese or ranch dressing
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp onion powder
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Melt butter in a large pot over medium heat.
- Add celery, carrots, and onion. Cook until softened.
- Stir in chicken broth, hot sauce, garlic powder, and onion powder. Bring to a simmer.
- Add shredded chicken and let it cook for 10 minutes.
- Reduce heat and stir in heavy cream.
- Simmer for another 5 minutes.
- Season with salt and pepper.
- Serve hot with blue cheese or ranch dressing on top.
