Ingredients

- 4 boneless, skinless chicken
- 2 large onions, thinly sliced
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 1 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp black pepper
- 1 tsp paprika
- 1/2 tsp garlic powder
- 1 cup chicken broth
- 1 tbsp butter
- 1 tbsp flour
- 1/2 cup heavy cream
Instructions
- Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat.
- Season chicken with salt, pepper, paprika, and garlic powder.
- Cook chicken in the skillet for 5-6 minutes per side until browned. Remove and set aside.
- In the same skillet, add sliced onions and cook until soft and caramelized.
- Add butter and flour, stirring to combine.
- Pour in chicken broth and heavy cream, stirring until the sauce thickens.
- Return chicken to the skillet, coating it with the onion sauce.
- Simmer for 5 minutes until chicken is fully cooked.

- Use a cast-iron skillet for even heat distribution.
- Adjust seasoning to taste.
- Serve with mashed potatoes or rice.
