A delicious Middle Eastern dessert combining crispy knafeh pastry with rich chocolate, popular in Dubai.
Ingredients

- 500g knafeh pastry (shredded)
- 200g unsalted butter (melted)
- 300g dark chocolate (chopped)
- 1 cup sugar syrup
- 1 tsp rose water
- 1/2 tsp orange blossom water
- 1/4 cup pistachios (crushed, for garnish)
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 180°C (350°F).
- Mix knafeh pastry with melted butter until fully coated.
- Press half the pastry into a greased baking pan to form the base.
- Layer chopped chocolate evenly over the base.
- Cover with the remaining pastry and press gently.
- Bake for 20-25 minutes until golden brown.
- Heat sugar syrup with rose and orange blossom water.
- Pour syrup over the hot knafeh.
- Garnish with crushed pistachios.
- Let cool before cutting into bars.

- Use high-quality chocolate for best results.
- Adjust sugar syrup to your preferred sweetness.
- Serve warm for a gooey texture or chilled for firm bars.
