Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 4 cups cold water
  • 2 tbsp dried culinary lavender
  • Ice cubes
  • Lemon slices and lavender sprigs for garnish (optional)

Instructions

  1. In a small saucepan, combine sugar and 1 cup water. Heat over medium heat until sugar dissolves.
  2. Add lavender to the sugar syrup, remove from heat, and let steep for 15 minutes.
  3. Strain the lavender syrup into a pitcher.
  4. Add lemon juice and remaining 3 cups of cold water. Stir well.
  5. Chill for at least 1 hour before serving.
  6. Serve over ice, garnished with lemon slices and lavender sprigs if desired.
