  2. Heat olive oil in a pan over medium heat. Add garlic and red pepper flakes, cook for 1 minute until fragrant.
  3. Add drained pasta to the pan. Toss to coat with the oil.
  4. Add Parmesan cheese and a splash of pasta water. Stir until creamy.
  5. Season with salt and black pepper. Garnish with parsley if desired.
