- 8 oz pasta (any type)
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/2 tsp red pepper flakes
- 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- Salt and black pepper to taste
- Fresh parsley for garnish (optional)
Instructions
- Cook pasta according to package instructions. Reserve 1/2 cup pasta water before draining.
- Heat olive oil in a pan over medium heat. Add garlic and red pepper flakes, cook for 1 minute until fragrant.
- Add drained pasta to the pan. Toss to coat with the oil.
- Add Parmesan cheese and a splash of pasta water. Stir until creamy.
- Season with salt and black pepper. Garnish with parsley if desired.

- Use any pasta shape you prefer.
- Add cooked protein like chicken or shrimp for extra flavor.
- Adjust red pepper flakes to control spiciness.
