Maple miso glazed chicken thighs are a delicious and easy-to-make dish. The sweet and savory glaze pairs perfectly with juicy chicken thighs.

- 4 bone-in, skin-on chicken thighs
- 2 tbsp maple syrup
- 2 tbsp white miso paste
- 1 tbsp soy sauce
- 1 tbsp rice vinegar
- 1 clove garlic, minced
- 1 tsp grated ginger
- 1 tbsp vegetable oil
- 1 tsp sesame seeds (optional)
- 1 green onion, sliced (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
- In a small bowl, whisk together maple syrup, miso paste, soy sauce, rice vinegar, garlic, and ginger.
- Heat oil in an oven-safe skillet over medium-high heat. Pat chicken thighs dry and season with salt and pepper.
- Sear chicken thighs skin-side down for 5-6 minutes until golden brown. Flip and cook for 2 minutes.
- Brush the glaze over the chicken thighs, then transfer the skillet to the oven.
- Bake for 15-20 minutes until the chicken reaches an internal temperature of 165°F (74°C).
- Remove from oven, garnish with sesame seeds and green onion if desired, and serve.
Notes
- Use a meat thermometer to check doneness.
- For a crispier skin, broil for the last 2-3 minutes.
- Adjust sweetness by adding more or less maple syrup.
