- 1 ripe banana, mashed
- 1/2 cup maple syrup
- 1/4 cup melted butter
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1/2 tsp baking soda
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 1/2 cup chopped walnuts
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- In a bowl, mix mashed banana, maple syrup, melted butter, and vanilla.
- In another bowl, whisk flour, baking soda, and salt.
- Combine wet and dry ingredients. Fold in walnuts.
- Drop tablespoon-sized dough onto the baking sheet. Bake for 10-12 minutes.
- Let cool on the baking sheet for 5 minutes before transferring to a wire rack.
Notes
- Use ripe bananas for best flavor.
- Store in an airtight container for up to 3 days.
