- 1/4 cup cornmeal
- 1/4 cup chopped cilantro
- 1/4 cup crumbled cotija cheese
- 1 egg
- 1/4 cup milk
- 1 tsp chili powder
- 1/2 tsp garlic powder
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp black pepper
- Oil for frying
Instructions
- Mix corn, flour, cornmeal, cilantro, cotija cheese, egg, milk, chili powder, garlic powder, salt, and pepper in a bowl.
- Heat oil in a pan over medium heat.
- Scoop spoonfuls of the batter and fry until golden brown, about 2-3 minutes per side.
- Drain on paper towels.
- Serve warm with lime wedges or crema.
