Description
Quick and easy mince pies made in an air fryer for a crispy finish.
Ingredients

- 250g ready-made shortcrust pastry
- 200g mincemeat
- 1 egg, beaten (for glazing)
- 1 tbsp icing sugar (optional, for dusting)
Instructions
- Roll out the pastry to about 3mm thickness.
- Cut out circles to fit your tart tin or air fryer molds.
- Place the pastry circles in the molds and spoon in the mincemeat (about 1 tsp per pie).
- Cut smaller pastry circles or shapes for the lids and press them gently on top.
- Brush the tops with beaten egg.
- Air fry at 180°C (360°F) for 8-10 minutes until golden brown.
- Let cool slightly before dusting with icing sugar (optional).

- Use store-bought pastry for a quicker option.
- Adjust cooking time based on your air fryer model.
- Let pies cool before serving to avoid burning your mouth.
