Description

Quick and easy mince pies made in an air fryer for a crispy finish.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 250g ready-made shortcrust pastry
  • 200g mincemeat
  • 1 egg, beaten (for glazing)
  • 1 tbsp icing sugar (optional, for dusting)

Instructions

  1. Roll out the pastry to about 3mm thickness.
  2. Cut out circles to fit your tart tin or air fryer molds.
  3. Place the pastry circles in the molds and spoon in the mincemeat (about 1 tsp per pie).
  4. Cut smaller pastry circles or shapes for the lids and press them gently on top.
  5. Brush the tops with beaten egg.
  6. Air fry at 180°C (360°F) for 8-10 minutes until golden brown.
  7. Let cool slightly before dusting with icing sugar (optional).

  • Use store-bought pastry for a quicker option.
  • Adjust cooking time based on your air fryer model.
