Description

A creamy and cheesy corn dish with crispy bacon, made easy in a slow cooker.


Ingredients

  • 6 cups frozen corn kernels
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 4 slices bacon, cooked and crumbled
  • 1/2 cup heavy cream
  • 4 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Add frozen corn, heavy cream, cream cheese, garlic powder, and onion powder to the slow cooker.
  2. Stir to combine.
  3. Cover and cook on low for 3-4 hours or on high for 1.5-2 hours.
  4. Stir in shredded cheddar cheese until melted.
  5. Top with crumbled bacon before serving.

Notes

  • For extra flavor, mix in chopped green onions before serving.
  • Can substitute half-and-half for heavy cream if desired.
