Description

Ingredients

  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup water
  • 2 tbsp coconut oil
  • 1 tbsp sugar
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1/2 cup sugar (for coating)
  • 1 tsp cinnamon (for coating)

Instructions

  1. Heat water, coconut oil, sugar, and salt in a saucepan until boiling.
  2. Remove from heat and stir in flour until smooth.
  3. Add vanilla extract and mix well.
  4. Transfer dough to a piping bag with a star tip.
  5. Pipe churros onto parchment paper and cut into 4-inch pieces.
  6. Preheat air fryer to 375°F (190°C).
  7. Place churros in the air fryer basket, leaving space between them.
  8. Air fry for 8-10 minutes until golden brown.
  9. Mix sugar and cinnamon in a shallow bowl.
  10. Roll warm churros in the cinnamon-sugar mixture.
  11. Serve immediately.
