Ingredients

  • 1 cup water
  • 2 tbsp coconut oil
  • 1 tbsp sugar
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1/4 cup sugar (for coating)
  • 1 tsp cinnamon (for coating)

Instructions

  1. Heat water, coconut oil, sugar, and salt in a saucepan until boiling.
  2. Remove from heat and stir in flour and vanilla until smooth.
  3. Transfer dough to a piping bag with a star tip.
  4. Pipe churros onto parchment paper and freeze for 15 minutes.
  5. Preheat air fryer to 350°F (180°C).
  6. Air fry churros for 8-10 minutes until golden.
  7. Mix sugar and cinnamon in a bowl.
  8. Toss warm churros in cinnamon sugar mixture.
