Ingredients

- 6 medium tomatillos, husked and rinsed
- 2 ripe avocados, peeled and pitted
- 1/2 cup fresh cilantro, chopped
- 1/4 cup white onion, finely diced
- 1 jalapeño pepper, seeded and minced
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 tbsp lime juice
- 1 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp ground cumin
Instructions
- Chop the tomatillos into small pieces and place them in a bowl.
- Add the avocados, cilantro, onion, jalapeño, and garlic to the bowl.
- Squeeze lime juice over the mixture and sprinkle with salt and cumin.
- Gently mash the ingredients together with a fork until well combined but still slightly chunky.
- Taste and adjust seasoning if needed.
- Serve immediately or refrigerate for up to 2 hours for flavors to meld.

- For a smoother salsa, blend ingredients in a food processor.
- Adjust jalapeño quantity for desired spiciness.
