- 12 large white mushrooms, stems removed
- 1/2 pound ground sausage
- 1/4 cup breadcrumbs
- 1/4 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1 tablespoon grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 clove garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon dried parsley
- 1/2 teaspoon dried oregano
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
Instructions
- Preheat the air fryer to 375°F (190°C).
- In a skillet, cook the sausage until browned. Drain excess fat.
- In a bowl, mix the cooked sausage, breadcrumbs, mozzarella, Parmesan, garlic, parsley, oregano, and pepper.
- Brush the mushroom caps with olive oil.
- Spoon the sausage mixture into each mushroom cap.
- Place mushrooms in the air fryer basket and cook for 8-10 minutes until golden and tender.
- Serve warm.
Notes
- Use any sausage variety you prefer.
- For extra crispiness, broil for 1-2 minutes after air frying.
- Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to 2 days.
