Ingredients

- 1 tsp baking powder

- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
- 3/4 cup granulated sugar
- 1/4 cup brown sugar
- 1 large egg
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1/2 cup apple butter
- 2 tbsp cinnamon sugar (for topping)
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease an 8×8-inch baking pan.
- Whisk flour, baking powder, and salt in a bowl.
- Cream butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until fluffy.
- Beat in egg and vanilla. Mix in apple butter.
- Gradually add dry ingredients, mixing until combined.
- Spread batter evenly in the pan. Sprinkle with cinnamon sugar.
- Bake for 25-30 minutes or until golden brown.
- Cool before cutting into bars.
Notes
- Store in an airtight container for up to 5 days.
- For extra cinnamon flavor, add 1 tsp cinnamon to the batter.
