Description

Crispy rice paper samosas made in an air fryer for a healthier version of the classic snack. Easy to prepare with simple ingredients.


Ingredients

  • 6 rice paper sheets
  • 1 cup mashed potatoes
  • 1/2 cup cooked peas
  • 1/4 cup finely chopped onions
  • 1 tsp garam masala
  • 1/2 tsp cumin powder
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 2 tbsp oil (for brushing)
  • Water (for soaking rice paper)

Instructions

  1. Soak one rice paper sheet in warm water for 10 seconds until soft.
  2. Lay it flat and place 1-2 tbsp of the potato-pea filling in the center.
  3. Fold the sides inward, then roll tightly to form a samosa shape.
  4. Brush lightly with oil.
  5. Preheat air fryer to 180°C (350°F).
  6. Place samosas in the air fryer basket without overcrowding.
  7. Air fry for 8-10 minutes, flipping halfway, until golden and crispy.
  8. Serve hot with chutney or sauce.

Notes

  • Keep rice paper moist but not too wet to avoid tearing.
  • Adjust spices to taste.
  • Use any leftover filling for wraps or rolls.
